TURF ALLOWS YOU TO ENJOY A LAWN OF INSTANT BEAUTY AND MATURITY WITH OUT THE USUAL TIME-CONSUMING HASSELS OF SEEDING. THE FOLLOWING ARE BASIC STEPS TO A BEAUTIFUL LAWN.

STEP 1 - Measuring & Ordering:

With a tape, measure the area of your planned lawn. Length x width in ft. = a total and divide by 9 for your square yardage. Schedule your order for delivery of turf after preparatory work is completed and you are ready to install. Prompt installation on the day of delivery is crucial to a strong beginning for your new lawn.

STEP 2 - Soil Preparation:

For best result, rototill or spade the area to a depth of 4 inches. Rake in fertilizer. Rake and smooth the soil removing rocks and large clods.

STEP 3 - Turf Installation:

Install your lawn immediately upon delivery. Turf is a living plant that requires ground contact and moisture to survive. Water immediately upon installation. Begin installing turf along the longest straight line, such as a driveway or sidewalk. Butt and push edges and ends against each other tightly, without overlapping. Stagger the joints in each row in a brick-like fashion. Use a sharp knife to trim corners and edges.

STEP 4 - Watering:

Give your new lawn a least 1-inch of water within ½ hour of installation. Water daily keeping turf moist until it is firmly rooted (about 10 days). Water approximately 2 hours per setting when using an average sprinkler. Underground irrigation water 1 hour per zone.

STEP 5 - Maintenance:

Mow often, generally setting your mower quite high. Keep your mower blade sharp. Fertilize every 6-8 weeks. Winterize your Turf in the late fall.
